About Me

I hold a BA in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations & Advertising, a Master degree in Instructional Design and Technology both from George Mason University and am HFI Certified in Usability. Additionally, I have extensive design and development experience in creating custom applications, CMS and informational digital products for corporate, non-profit and government sectors.

  • Work with clients to find the most meaningful opportunities and significant threats to their digital product(s). Focusing on the enablement of new digital capabilities to their business and updates to their existing models.
  • Develop product plans that describe the customer experience, market opportunity, profiles the target audience, identifies goals, indicates the key priorities for development and enhancement, and provides a roadmap for delivery.
  • Facilitate discovery engagements to understand business and user needs; lead stakeholder interviews, user observations, user research, build personas, user journeys and design workflow process.

LEAD UX Designer and UI Developer
Drove the strategic direction of the UX/UI program and supported the development of designing for digital products produced for the Office of Diplomatic Security - Chief Technology Office.

  • Streamlined and standardized digital product design by defining brand guidelines, specifications for the user experience and templates to be used in all digital products.
  • Created style guides, wireframes, and prototypes that defined standards used across the agency.
  • Developed front-end HTML, CSS and jQuery for custom applications.
  • Gathered requirements and created visual design solutions for custom applications.
  • Delivered, reusable and maintainable design solutions that conformed to section 508-compliancy. Used WAZE and accessibility checklists for adhering to 508-compliancy.
